What is the method of making Kratom soap?

-
- Before you start the procedure, make sure you take all the precautionary measures. Wear rubber gloves and cover the area with sheets or newspaper to avoid damage to a workplace in case of spills and splashes.
- Now warm up the glycerin base in a separate base. When it becomes liquid, turn down the heat. Add Organic Avocado Oil, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Palm Oil, Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Palm Kernel Oil. Mix all these natural oils with glycerin properly. Heat this to 115 Fahrenheit. Simultaneously you prepare the soap molds. Line them with parchment paper.
- It’s time to mix water and lye. It’s important that you wear goggles at this step to avoid exposure to fumes. Add lye to the water after measuring it. (Don’t add water to lye as it may result in volcanic reactions as it is an exothermic reaction). Stir until the lye is properly dissolved.Note: The fumes generated from the mixing of lye into water are very high. So, always pick a well-ventilated area for this step. Do not inhale the fumes. In a case of any accident or injury to the skin, flush the skin with plenty of water and neutralize it with vinegar. Seek advice from a physician if necessary.
- When both solutions cool down (Oils are at 115 Fahrenheit and lye at 110 Fahrenheit), you pour the lye solution into the pots of melted oils while stirring. Ensure that you wear goggles and gloves. The mixture will get thicker gradually and will smell of soap. You can also use an electric blender to quicken the process and reduce it from an hour to 15 minutes. This process is called saponification. At this stage when the mixture has thickened, and soap has formed you add your favorite strain of powdered Kratom.
- You can add essential oils to it now. Pour the soap into the mold and remove any bubbles by gently shaking it. You can sprinkle dried flower or herbs on top of the soap to make it look nice. Cover the mold with plastic food wrap. This prevents the appearance of soda ash on your soap bars. Place the soap in a warm area covered with a blanket to help insulate it. Do not remove the insulation before 24 hours.
- During the 24 hours, it undergoes the gelling stage where it becomes hard. If it is soft, keep it for another 24 hours and wait for it to become firm. Once it is firm, remove it from the mold and slice it into bars. For the next 4-6 weeks, you will want to expose the Kratom soap bars to air. Cure your bars on a cardboard turning them daily. This curing process hardens the bars and makes it gentler on the skin.
- In the end, you need to clean the mess your kitchen. The best idea is to keep all the dirty utensils in a large stainless steel pot and place it out in the garage or basement for 2-3 weeks. By this time the raw Kratom soap will be safe to clean but still ensure that you wear gloves.
